Picked April 28th on the first clear day of the 2009 Spring Oolong season in the famed Wuyi Mountains of Northern Fujian, China. Hand picked from a very fragrant tea tree varietal, this premium Oolong offers nuances of spiced plums with a rich, lingering finish in the mouth. The farm that makes this tea uses highly regarded old plots that have been cultivated for centuries. 2 teaspoons of Golden Monkey Oolong can be infused with boiling water (200-212 degrees) up to 6 times.
